8/15/2007: Employers Let 401(k) Plans Slide, Survey Says (Pittsburgh Tribune-Review)
Excerpt: "About one-third of 401(k) plan sponsors-advisers change investment options for their employees every two to five years or even less often -- inaction experts called 'unacceptable,' a new survey found. The Cowden Associates Inc. survey of 105 Pennsylvania, Ohio and West Virginia employers found that 30.5 percent of all plans rarely change their options, 33.3 percent change every two to five years, and just 3.8 percent of those surveyed make changes semi-annually."
