Is Laser Eye Surgery (LASIK) an allowable medical expense to turn in for reimbursement under a 125 Plan? If so, does it matter if the surgery is done inside or outside the United Sates (we have a lot of people go to Canada in our area)? Thank you.

Yes, we believe that this is permissible and not cosmetic. The IRS had allowed the "old" PRK, so no reason to believe that Lasix would be disallowed.

LASIK is a reimburseable expense.
I do not know if there are any regulations regarding where the surgery is performed. I don't even know where to begin to look for that.
But the LASIK procedure is reimburseable.
