Can anyone direct me to a fairly recent article (e.g., CCH, BNA, RIA, ASPA) on responding to an IRS audit of a qualified plan? Any other recommended resources? Thanks.

I would go to the Reish & Luftman page in the Q&A forum of Benefits Link dealing with IRS audits and corrections. It is a good source of how to correct certain plan defects. It is also a good source for the IRS exam guidelines, as well as Western Key District audit focus. Other than that, I think CCH has a section in its pension materials dealing with IRS examinations (but I'm not sure).
