Where can I find reviews or ratings of TPA's for a defined contribution plan? We are unhappy with our current TPA and would like to get some input about potential new provders

To my knowledge there is no service that provides ratings for TPA firms. You may want to contact ASPA to get a listing of thier members and then conduct a search.

If you can give me some specifics I can give you a list of some TPA firms that you might want to look at.

Independent client satisfaction surveys of 401(k) providers are conducted by Plan Sponsor magazine (don't recall their web address) and Insight In Formation (401kratings.com).

Thank you. I started at PlanSponsor's site, but they are redoing it and had limited info available now. I had hardcopy back issues on hand and looked through them, but most of the surveys were about invesment managers or fund performance, not the recordkeepers. I will try the other site you listed.
