Has anyone been cranking out Schedule SB's on Relius govt forms system? I tried a couple, and seems like the system is rife with problems.

For starters, it carried forward last year's data into Schedule MB, even though virtually all of them had been marked as single employer plans last year. That wasn't very user friendly. dry.gif

On line 3, the totals aren't working correctly in column 2. I had to override to get the proper result.

Lines 7-13, column (a): How do you enter the FSA credit balance at beginning of current PY? I think you have to override the 13(a) amount, which seems clumsy.

Lines 14-16: Can't enter funded percentages of 100% or higher, even with override. This is a major problem, since these are the AFTAP amounts.

Anyone else having these problems? or other ones?

The "100%" problem is an EFAST problem according to Datair - that won't be fixed until 2009. You should be OK entering 99.99% for numbers > that, per EFAST per Datair.

Per the government forms folk:

Those are all problems that will be in the RGF 5500 2009 SP1 release going out soon.

I sent an email to Relius last week with these problems - they have similar emails from others. They said they are working on the fixes except for lines 14-16, which are EFast requirement!?

For that matter, (know this isn't explicitly DB related), but 2007 Schedule As do not carry forward. Think I will wait until SP1 (at the least) before scurrying around the office updating everyone.

Please see relius website for SP1 which offers some fixes.

I believe FSCOB would be reported on Part II, line 9, even though this does not track to the form itself. The instructions to the form indicate this is where it goes.

Do not count on form entry validity when getting an all-clear on the edit checks. I've made several misentries [some even intentional!] and still am given a clean bill of health. I wish my internist's scale were that kind!
