What ever happened to the proposed phased retirement regulations from 2004 (age 59 1/2)? Have they been abandoned?

Thanks for the response. I am aware of those regs issued in May but they only finalized part of the proposed regs from 2004. I'm wondering if anyone has heard anything about the status of the remaining parts of the proposed regs (rules for phased retirement starting at age 59 1/2)?
