Has anyone heard of if and when 5500s will need to be filed electronically?
Is it for plan years beginning in 2008?

Electronic filing starts with the 2008 filings due in 2009.

Maybe... it will depend on the federal budget process. The DOL did not get funding to start it this year. Will they get the funding for next year?
