Does anyone know of benefit vendor in Mexico City? We have acquired business in Mexico City and must provide benefits which coordinate with Mexican law. We need health insurance, vision insurance, life insurance and disability.

Sara - I don't know of a source of benefits, but I do know a CPA firm in Mexico City who might be able to help you find out.

Tillinghast (an insurance consulting firm) maintains offices worldwide. They have a Mexico City office, as well as one in Buffalo Grove, IL. You may want to contact someone there to get an idea of who they use, as they are providing insurance to their consultants around the world. Their international headquarters are in New York City. Tillinghast is a subsidiary of Towers Perrin.

We set up a benefits program in our Mexico office using William M. Mercer 200 Clarendon St. Boston, MA 02116. Phone number is 617-450-6000. Anthony Anzlovar of Mercer provided us with quotes from Grupo Nacional Provincial and Seguros Monterrey Aetna and basically guided us through the process.
