I'm thinking of taking the C-1 exam. For those of you that have already taken it how much of a time commitment is it?

Well I just took the exam this week.. I've had the study material since March. Briefly worked on it until the beginning of May. Then I spent a lot of lunch hours, evenings, weekends and a two days off work to study for it. I passed (at least that's what the preliminary piece of paper says).

It was difficult pulling all the information together, especially with no past exams to go by. I wish I had spent more time with the Outline Books. And in case you're wondering, I've been doing Admin for 10 years. I definitely think it was worth taking. If you're going to do it in November order the materials now.
