Facts: Disabled former employee and spouse on 29 month COBRA. Emp. turns 65 in Jan. and will drop our plan for Medicare.
Question: Can spouse continue COBRA for remainder of 29 months?

I haven't double checked the regs, but I think this would be a second qualifying event for the spouse and he/she would actually be eligible for 36 months of coverage measured from the date of the first qualifying event (termination or reduction in hours).
