I appreciate this list quite a bit, but it really is primarily a retirement-related site. Do any of you know of a discussion list focused on non-retirement benefits, such as health, life, dental, ltd, etc.?

I would also be interested in such a site. Good question KCHRISTY. In the meantime, I quess we could post such questions on the Miscellaneous category on this site and see if we get any hits or interest. In fact, I have seen group insurance related questions posted here.

Was the Health Mainetenance Organization Act or the regulations under it amended during 1998? If so, can you point me to what area was amended. Thanks

I'm the webmaster ... I'd be happy to create separate, new message boards if the "Health Plans (Including COBRA and HIPAA)" is too broad. Whatcha think?

How about something like "Welfare Plans in General" similar to the existing "Retirement Plans in General" board?

We've been using the internet for a some years, and would have stumbled across a better venue for health, disability, life, etc info, issues, & professional exchange by now. There isn't one, in our opinion. I second (or third) the proposed Welfare plans in general message board idea as a way to expand the welfare plan exchange.
