I am looking for a sample investment policy for allowing a self-directed brokerage account. Would appreciate any references.

I'm interested, as well

I thought that "self directed" was IRA only and even then with restrictions about option trading.

Assuming you mean 457 deferred compensation I thought any reference to "employee ownership" was not legal

There are some similar arguments about 403(B) plans and annuities .... all to the effect that these plans may not be self directed plans .... sorry memory getting lousy but I believe VALIC was involved
