For anyone who may be trying to compare the advantages and disadvantages of various types of plans which provide for voluntary pretax contributions, I've posted a chart comparing the three types of plans.

Hmm, I'm talking to myself--this may be a bad sign! 
I've now revised and expanded the chart comparing 457, 401(k), and 403(B) plans to include a wide variety of new information (e.g., distribution requirements, protection from creditors, etc.)
